Every since Will started walking, he has always loved to get in strange places. I have pictures of him in his toy box, in a basket covered in stuffed animals, in the laundry hamper brushing his teeth, etc. Here is a reminder of that picture. Now, I have a picture of him in the dog crate. I have always said that I should do a scrapbook of Will in funny places.
In school this year, Kristen and Will are studying flying creatures. This week we are studying feathers so today we went to the duck pond to collect feathers to look at. It is amazing to study the details of feathers and how they are perfectly designed to cause a bird to fly. It all points to a perfect creation by a perfect Creator. Even the fact that when a bird molts or loses a feather, it loses one on the opposite side so that the bird isn't lopsided when it flies shows God's perfect design. I am so glad that as we do school, we can marvel at God's beauty and design.
I am so thankful to be homeschooling so that God can be a normal, natural part of our school day! I continue to be amazed at all I learn while we do school. I'm sure that on most days, I learn more than the kids do. Here are a couple of pictures at the duck pond.
