Back from Gatlinburg

Well, we had a great weekend in Gatlinburg last weekend. We went up on Thursday and came home on Sunday. We had a nice mix of doing some touring and attractions around Gatlinburg and also relaxing at the cabin we rented. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool, and just sitting on the porch reading, listening to the crickets, and talking.



We went to the aquarium in Gatlinburg. Billy and I had been before, but the kids had never been. We all really enjoyed it. Will had not wanted to go because he wanted to stay at the cabin and play. But, when we were finished he said, "I can't believe that I didn't want to go there. That was cool!"













On Saturday we went to Dollywood with my cousin, Kathy, and her family. We always have such a great time together, but we don't get to be together often enough! It was HOT, which made the water rides even nicer. It was nice to come back to our cabin that evening instead of having to drive all the way home.

Now it is back to real life -- working, school, laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc. which isn't so bad either.
