13. I am so thankful for a perfect, pure, preserved Word of God. I do not have to wonder what God's instructions for me are. They are clearly written in His Word. I just have to take the time to read and study my Bible and then choose to obey his commandments! We were discussing this at our ladies Bible study yesterday. If a parent wants specific things to happen after he is gone, what does he do? He or she writes a will. It is written down. No one has to question what the parents wishes were. The same is true for our wonderful, caring God. He has given us a perfect Word that we can go to and find out exactly what He would have us to do. It is not mysterious or mystical. It is written down in clear, plain, English. I am so thankful for that!

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

My prayer is that my steps will be ordered by the Lord. The only way for me to know what those steps should be is to spend time in His Word!
