Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day, thanks to my sweet family!!! We had Mother's Day with Mom on Saturday night because they were leaving to go out of town on Sunday. Dad grilled for us and we had a great time! On Sunday, when we came home from church, Billy had me close my eyes and he led me out to the porch. When I opened my eyes, they had me a new lounge chair for the deck. He had it set up with a table beside it, with the laptop sitting there. He told me to sit there and relax while he and the girls fixed lunch. He grilled steaks and veggies. It was all so yummy!!! After dinner, we all sat on the porch for a while and then I sat and read my book and drank coffee for most of the afternoon. What a nice day!!

I am so thankful to be a mother to my three precious children! They truly are a gift from the Lord! I am also so blessed to have such a great mom! She has taught me so much by her word and her example. I hate to imagine where I would be in life without her example.
